Loretta Jane Swit is an American stage and television actress known for her character roles. Swit is best known for portraying Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on M*A*S*H, for which she won two Emmy Awards.
She was also in several other TV Shows, including Hawaii Five-O, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Love Boat, Batman: The Animated Series, Murder She Wrote, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, as well as the films Race with the Devil, Whoops Apocalypse, Forest Warrior, Beach Movie, and Play the Flute.
